Mark is a calm habit and journaling app. There are no streaks, no shame, no pressure — it quietly remembers the last time you did something and gently nudges you when it's time again. You "mark" the things you tend to, and they become a quiet journal of your days.
No account, no password. Mark uses your iCloud to keep your data private and in sync across your own devices automatically. Make sure you're signed into iCloud and that iCloud is enabled for Mark in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud.
Check that both devices are signed into the same Apple ID, have iCloud enabled for Mark, and have an internet connection. Sync can take a few moments after you add something. If a device has been offline, give it time to catch up once it reconnects.
Open Mark → Settings → Restore Purchases. This re-checks your Apple ID for any active Mark subscription. Make sure you're signed into the Apple ID you bought it with.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: App Store → tap your profile → Subscriptions → Mark. From there you can change or cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Premium unlocks additional depth — your full all-time history and insights, premium card designs, and richer attachments on moments. The core daily experience — capturing, marking, private journaling, recent history, and branded sharing — is always free.
Your data lives on your device and in your iCloud:
Both are optional. If you attach a place to a moment, Mark drops a map pin and looks up the place name; if weather is available, it can save the conditions with that moment. Mark never tracks your location in the background. You can manage this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.
Make sure notifications are allowed for Mark in iOS Settings → Notifications → Mark, and that the item has a reminder set.
Yes. Your entries stay on your device and in your own iCloud — we don't run servers that store them and we can't read them. See our Privacy Policy.
